A vacancy has arisen for a yard operative within our company based in Assington (Suffolk).

Assington Autos Ltd was established in 2017. The founder has vast knowledge and experience into metal and the automotive industry, which has helped him in his objective to the best second-hand auto parts supplier in the country. His mission is to streamline the sale of second-hand parts by leveraging the use of the internet and exporting globally. The role / duties and responsibilities:

• Unloading, loading, processing and recycling various vehicles / materials on site.
• Thoroughly grading and weighing incoming materials to ensure quality is maintained.
• Assisting customers and other members of the team.
• Assisting management as required.

Training:

• Forklift truck licence preferable but training will be provided for the successful candidate.
• Experience in vehicles / scrap metal recycling is highly desirable.
• Health and Safety must be adhered to at all times.
