Sector-specific training for the metals recycling industry

Welcome to the BMRA Academy, the Association’s portal for members to help them identify and access education and training programmes suitable for those working in the metals recycling sector.

Provided, where feasible, by service members of the Association, at a special rate to fellow members where possible, all training courses are assessed and validated by the BMRA Education and Training Committee and must have appropriate accreditation.

The Academy also serves as the home for all information related to the Metal Recycling General Operative, the industry’s only level 2, sector-specific apprenticeship.

Please note that this is phase one of the BMRA Academy. We hope to build and extend the number of courses listed as time goes on.

Please note, all the courses listed on the BMRA Academy are delivered by service members of the Association and third parties and not the Association itself. BMRA receives no payment from these training providers, and any commercial agreement is strictly between the BMRA member and the third-party training provider.  Any issues or liabilities are between the BMRA member and the third-party training provider.
