Green Car Depollution

Training and Assessment for City & Guilds F-gas Certification delivered onsite by BMRA Academy partner, Green Car Depollution.

Legislation introduced in 2010 by Defra and the European Union (Regulation No: 842/2006) now requires all technicians handling fluorinated gases (R134A) and carrying out service repair of vehicle air conditioning systems to meet the minimum qualification as set out in the F Gas Regulation.

City and Guilds Refrigerant Handling Qualification for Mobile Air Conditioning Systems Qualification No: 7543-001-01 Module 1 (F Gas Assessment)

This is the first of three modules towards the full City and Guilds qualification in Mobile Air Conditioning Systems. This is also a mandatory requirement directed by the European Union and Defra for all engineers who handle refrigerants and carrying out repairs of vehicle air conditioning systems.

This module is an assessment of the candidates competency and ability to operate a recovery unit  and  have a clear understanding of the fluorinated greenhouse gases and their environmental impact.

On successful completion of this City and Guilds module, candidates will receive their certificate and this will be a licence for life.
