BMRA is delighted to release the third edition of the UK Specifications for Metals Recycling for Ferrous Raw Materials used in the Manufacture of Iron and Steel.
This booklet details and illustrates the United Kingdom specifications for ferrous raw materials for the manufacture of iron & steel. These jointly agreed specifications are subject to regular review between the British Metals Recycling Association, the Cast Metals Federation and UK Steel.
The reviews take into account the availability of new sources of scrap, the introduction of new processes and the development of customer requirements. These specifications supersede those issued on 1 March 2015.
The booklet is only available initially as a digital download and available free to BMRA members. Members can download the high-resolution version here (login required).
Non-BMRA members can purchase a digital copy for £30+VAT.
